"I did nothing when I had the chance and now it rips me apart every time I think of what she must have gone through at the hands of a predator."
PARENTS, this is your chance to act BEFORE something happens!
The FBI-SOS (Safe Online Surfing) Internet Challenge is a program designed to help teach students and parents about internet safety. The goal of this program is to ensure that participants (students) can recognize and avoid potential dangers associated with the internet while using services such as discussion boards, instant messaging, social networking sites and chat rooms.
The program addresses and defines topics serious in nature such as seduction, child pornography, solicitation, exploitation, obscenity and online predators. You are welcome to review the topics covered by the program in greater detail by going through the Scavenger Hunt. The FBI-SOS program administrators support and respect each family's right to decide whether or not their child may participate in the FBI-SOS program.
